Terms of Service

These Terms govern use of RSG, an independent ministry planning and tracking web application.

1. About RSG

RSG (“Rise. Shine. Grind.”) helps users plan and record ministry activity, track goals, organize interested persons and return visits, create backups, restore prior RSG records, organize accessible RSG files and optionally use a separate RSG Google Calendar.

RSG is independently developed and operated. It is not an official application of Jehovah’s Witnesses and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society or JW.ORG.

2. Acceptance

By accessing or using RSG, you agree to these Terms and the RSG Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use RSG.

3. Google authorization

RSG features require Google authorization. Google may show an unverified-app warning while RSG's OAuth verification remains incomplete. Users should continue only when they intentionally opened RSG and recognize the developer account shown by Google.

Google Calendar connection is optional. Drive integration uses limited per-file access rather than unrestricted access to every file in the user's Drive.

4. User responsibilities

  • Use RSG lawfully and responsibly.
  • Maintain appropriate control of your Google Account and devices.
  • Review information entered into RSG for accuracy and appropriateness.
  • Decide what information about interested persons or return visits is appropriate to store.
  • Review backups and restored workspaces when using recovery features.
  • Review permanent-deletion selections carefully; confirmed permanent deletion cannot be undone by RSG.

5. Backup, restore and file organization

RSG may create backup copies and restored working copies in the user's Google account. A restore is intended to preserve the selected backup and the previous working spreadsheet rather than erase them. Folder organization and Archive placement are subject to the Google permissions available for each file.

Older or separately shared files may remain outside the RSG folder when RSG does not have permission to move them.

6. Permanent removal

RSG may offer a permanent-removal feature for discovered RSG-managed files, folders and Calendar resources. The user chooses what to remove and confirms permanent deletion. Resources that RSG cannot access may require manual review or deletion through Google Drive or Google Calendar.

7. Appropriate use

You may not use RSG to violate law, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access to another person's data or account, introduce malicious code or misuse connected third-party services.

8. Third-party services

RSG may interact with Google Sheets, Drive, Calendar, Places, Apps Script, profile services, Resend and Stripe. Those providers operate their own services and may apply separate terms, policies, availability limits and technical requirements.

9. Optional contributions

Optional contributions are voluntary and may be processed on Stripe-hosted pages. RSG does not collect payment-card numbers entered on those hosted pages.

10. Availability and changes

RSG may be updated, modified, temporarily unavailable or discontinued. Features may change as RSG develops or as third-party services change their APIs and requirements.

11. No warranty

RSG is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While reasonable efforts are made to keep it reliable, no guarantee is made that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every purpose.

12. Limitation of responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use or inability to use RSG, loss of data, third-party outages or user-entered information.

13. Privacy

RSG's handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

14. Changes to these terms

These Terms may be updated as RSG develops or applicable requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
